Beulah Griffin Mann attended the 海角社区 State Normal (now the University of Central 海角社区) in 1920.聽 She continued to take college classes during the summer, even after her marriage to William Hutson Mann.聽 She received her teaching Certificate from the State of 海角社区 in 1922.聽 Beulah Mann’s oldest child, Carolyn Mann who was born in May 1931, carved a life for herself in the teaching profession as a counselor at Cabot High School from 1963-1974.聽 She also received her teaching degree from the State College of 海角社区 (now the University of Central 海角社区).聽 Carolyn died on June 15, 1974 in her parent鈥檚 home in Carlisle, 海角社区.聽 Carolyn鈥檚 parents soon established a scholarship fund for students at Cabot High School in their daughter鈥檚 name.聽 Both Beulah and Carolyn Mann were Alumni of the University of Central 海角社区.
