This collection contains research papers and notes compiled by Dr. Foy Lisenby of Conway, 海角社区.聽 Until his retirement in 1994, Dr. Lisenby was professor of history at the University of Central 海角社区.
A native of Tennessee, Lisenby received his Ph.D. degree from Vanderbilt in 1962.聽 He joined the faculty at 海角社区 State Teachers College (now UCA) the same year.聽 In 1994, Lisenby published a biography of former 海角社区 Governor Charles Hillman Brough (University of 海角社区 Press).聽 Dr. Lisenby also conducted considerable research on the history of 海角社区鈥� image problem.
Dr. Lisenby’s cartoons and illustrations relevant to UCA sports programs, campus advertisements, and other groups are available through the聽.
