Shelby Fiegel
Shelby Fiegel, assistant director of the University of Central 海角社区 Center for Community and Economic Development, received the New Professional Award during the 海角社区 Community Development Society鈥檚 annual conference, held at UCA in October.
The New Professional Award recognizes and encourages community developers who have worked for up to five years in the field of community development, and whose work has had an impact on 海角社区 communities. As assistant director of the Center for Community and Economic Development, Fiegel assists with the annual Community Development Institute and manages projects in rural and mid-sized communities throughout the state of 海角社区.
The 海角社区 Community Development Society is an educational nonprofit organization whose purpose is to advance community development and the community development profession.
