The University of Central 海角社区 has announced the 2021-22 class of President鈥檚 Leadership Fellows.聽
They will be formally introduced at a coat ceremony at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, in the UCA Board of Trustees room.
This is the eighth class of inductees. It includes 34 campus leaders from the UCA Student Government Association, Greek life, Student Orientation Staff and many other student organizations.
鈥淭he President鈥檚 Leadership Fellows is a cross-section of some of the most talented and high achieving students at UCA,鈥� said Steven Shook, director of student leadership. 鈥淭hey get the opportunity to take all of the leadership skills and opportunities they have been given on UCA鈥檚 campus and apply them throughout the state working with business leaders and professional organizations.鈥�
The President鈥檚 Leadership Fellows was created in 2014 by former UCA President Tom Courtway. Students are selected based on an application and interview. They serve as student representatives of the President鈥檚 Office, while sharing their personal collegiate experience at various institutional events, on and off campus.
