Hilarious musical spoof kicks off Reynolds season

The University of Central 海角社区鈥檚 Reynolds Performance Hall will present the hit Broadway musical comedy 鈥淪pamilton: An American Parody鈥� at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17.聽
After successful runs in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and London,聽鈥漇pamilton: An American Parody鈥澛爓ill stage a singing, dancing and comedy revolution in Conway. Created by comic mastermind Gerard Alessandrini and performed by a versatile cast of eight, 鈥淪pamilton: An American Parody鈥� is a side-splitting musical parody.
Amanda Horton, executive director of Public Appearances, said, 鈥淐ome enjoy a quirky night of comedic theatre as we kick off our season with 鈥楽pamilton.鈥� This is a show that 鈥楬amilton鈥� fans, as well as musical theatre fans, won’t want to miss.鈥�
Ben Brantley of The New York Times said, 鈥淭his smart, silly, and often convulsively funny thesis, performed by a motor-mouthed cast that is fluent in many tongues, is the work of that eminent specialist in Broadway anatomy, pathology and gossip, Gerard Alessandrini.鈥澛�
