RISI NAMED OUTSTANDING DIGITAL FILMMAKING STUDENT
CONWAY 鈥� Kim Risi, a senior from Jonesboro, was recently named the Outstanding Digital Filmmaking Student by the University of Central 海角社区 digital filmmaking faculty.
Risi鈥檚 film, The Man in the Moon, also earned the 鈥淔aculty Choice鈥� Award at the UCA Film Festival along with five other awards in the contest, which was judged by local professional filmmakers.
鈥淲e鈥檙e tremendously proud of Kim and her filmmaking team,鈥� said Joe Dull, assistant professor of digital filmmaking. 鈥淭hey made an exceptional film.鈥�

鈥� Who Will Help the Widow鈥檚 Son, directed by Karmichael Jones of Russellville, Best Music Video;
鈥� Greed by Arnett, Best Cinematography;
鈥� Man in the Moon, Best Screenplay;
鈥� Ed Lowry of Little Rock for Death of a Superhero, Best Actor;
鈥� Geneva Galloway of Little Rock for Dinner and The Register, Best Actress;
鈥� Sky Begins to Storm by Ron Walter of Mountain Home, Best Documentary;
鈥� Greed by Jason Miller of Hope, Best Sound Design;
鈥� Man in the Moon, Best Editing;
鈥� Man in the Moon, Best Directing;
鈥� Man in the Moon, Best Narrative.
