Two University of Central 海角社区 faculty members from the Department of Physical Therapy were elected to serve in the 海角社区 chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Steve Forbush, associate professor, was elected as chief delegate and will serve a three-year term. Kevin Garrison, associate professor and interim chair, was elected as a delegate and will serve a two-year term.
The two professors will represent 海角社区 physical therapists in the APTA House of Delegates held annually in June.
The mission of APTA 海角社区 is to represent and promote the profession of physical therapy in its endeavors to meet the physical therapy needs of society; to develop and improve the art and science of physical therapy including practice, education and research; and to meet the needs and interests of its members in the state of 海角社区.
