UCA will host over 400 high school students and their teachers, parents and other family members at the annual History Day in º£½ÇÉçÇø state competition this Saturday, April 21. Humanities scholars from UCA and other º£½ÇÉçÇø academic institutions, museums and archival facilities will judge the presentations, and º£½ÇÉçÇø Lt. Gov. Bill Halter will preside at the Awards Ceremony, which will take place at 3 p.m. in Ida Waldran auditorium. Students who place first and second in their respective categories will advance to the National History Day competition at the University of Maryland in June.
