Our department has three officially affiliated Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs): Computer Science Club, Cybersecurity Club, and Girls Who Code College Loop. These organizations are the best way to stay connected to our students and faculty. Club meetings and events cover all things computer science and cybersecurity, ranging from technical demonstrations to internship hunting. Meetings are generally every other week and will often feature speakers from the IT industry or our department.
Club events include:
- speakers from the IT industry, government agencies, and academia
- volunteer service opportunities and educational outreach programs
- coding and project demonstrations by fellow students
- resume and interview prep
- hands-on group lessons in technical skills
- department social hours, movie nights, and game nights
- participation in local, national, and international competitions
- fundraising events
