Community Members, Alumni, and Other Non-UCA Students
Non-UCA participants are eligible to attend a short-term, study abroad (faculty-led or immersion) program through the Office of Education Abroad (OEA), contingent on available space, as priority is given to UCA students. Non-UCA participants are also not eligible for any financial aid or scholarships and will be solely responsible for paying the associated Program Fee in full by the payment deadline.
If space is available after the application deadline, non-UCA participants may apply through one of two pathways:
- For Academic Credit: Apply as a visiting/non-degree-seeking student through UCA Admissions, complete the appropriate program application with OEA once admitted, be registered in the associated academic course for the program, pay the associated Student Program Fee and Tuition, and complete the pre-departure requirements.
- For Non-Credit: Obtain approval from both the faculty leader and the Office of Education Abroad, complete the appropriate program application with OEA and background check, pay the Community Member program fee (a 17% surcharge), and complete the pre-departure requirements.
